Description
This ceramic button is a charming example of arts and crafts that combines simplicity with ingenuity. The button is shaped cat's head With a slightly angular, geometric outline, which gives it a modern character. It is made of light, creamy clay. The surface is not perfectly smooth - it shows subtle pits and texture, which adds to its rustic style. The muzzle's features and vibrissae (whiskers) have been marked with dark, precise lines, using oxide. The most distinctive feature is the protuberant nose Made of a small, shiny bead in honey brown/amber color. Sewn centrally, it gives the whole thing a three-dimensional look and replaces conventional buttonholes. The button looks exceptionally striking against any fabric, providing a strong decorative accent. Thanks to handmade, each piece in the series is unique - they differ slightly in the spacing of the lines or the shade of the ceramic.
