Description

Looking for a detail that will transform your design? My ceramic buttons in the shape of poppy flowers are more than a simple clasp - they are „jewelry” that will give your garment a soul.
Each button was hand-cast from clay and then covered with striking glazes. The organic, irregular shape and bowl-shaped form perfectly imitate nature. The dark, textured centers contrast with the glossy surface of the petals in shades of pink and eggplant purple.

These buttons are quite massive and distinctive, so they go best with materials with a clear texture.
Thick knits or fabrics are their natural habitat:
- wool cardigans with a thick weave, sweaters made of alpaca or mohair in the colors of beige, gray, graphite or dirty pinku.
- Natural linen: as a clasp for a heavier linen coat or a boho-style bedspread. The rawness of the linen contrasts beautifully with the shiny glaze.
You can use them as add-ons:
- As a decoration next to the cap (instead of a pom-pom or on the hem),
- Fastening to woolen neck warmers (chimneys),
- A decorative element next to a shopper bag made of felt or canvas.
- can be used as fasteners for decorative pillowcases (such as velour or knitted).

Four versions available:

1. purple poppy : diameter about 5.5 cm.
2. pink poppy: diameter of about 5.0 cm.
3. pink poppy: diameter of about 4.5 cm.
4. pink poppy: diameter of about 4.5 cm.

All ceramic products are lead-free and food-safe. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.

Colors may vary slightly from actual colors due to monitor or camera settings.

I make and paint all products by hand in my family studio, with heart and passion.

I create with natural ceramic and stoneware clays, fired at 1100-1250 °C. I use safe, food-grade glazes.

I care about the environment - I pack in recycled materials and try to follow zero waste principles. If you find plastic in your package, it is also recycled - please reuse the packaging or recycle it.
